Newest store edging completion

IKEA Canton (Michigan!) is “progressing nicely” and is due to open in summer of 2006. It’s just north of Toledo, so it’s the closest IKEA to Ohio saving many of those on the west side a few hours off the present Chicago drive.
When it opens, I’ll be leading a caravan to go visit, so keep your eyes peeled here for more news as it happens.

Oh my God, I thought I was the only IKEA worshipper in Northeast Ohio! I’ve made five pilgrimages to IKEA Pittsburgh this year. As an interior design grad, I have only praise for the blue mothership! So many solutions, so little time. But I spread the word to everyone I meet. My friends think I’m nuts. My husband wants to kill me! But he gets it. I’m threatening to come to the door in a blond wig sprouting some strange language. (And I’m African-American!) I’ve sent emails asking when ohio will be blessed with a store. “No plans to open a store through August 2006″. I’ll keep trying. Don’t give up hope fellow Ohioans.
How soon may i be able to apply for a job at the Canton,Michigan store in the warehouse?I have many years experience in this line.What is the email address to apply on line at this store? Respectfully, Steve
